Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and FilteredIn ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the FilteredIn platform, website, and AI-powered resume analysis services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

1. Description of Service

1.1 What FilteredIn Does

FilteredIn is an AI-powered platform that:

  • Analyzes resumes against job descriptions
  • Provides compatibility scores and match percentages
  • Offers optimization recommendations for resumes
  • Generates insights to help job seekers improve their applications

1.2 Powered by AI

Our Service uses Anthropic Claude as its primary AI analysis provider and may use Google Gemini only after a separate paid-data-processing and audience-eligibility review, followed by Cloudflare Workers AI, as bounded fallback providers when an earlier eligible provider is unavailable, times out, or returns invalid output. The same submitted resume and job-description content may be processed by each eligible configured provider in that order, with at most one attempt per provider. Validated paid output is encrypted for interrupted-delivery recovery. Retrieval access expires 24 hours after the output is stored, and the Service will not return it after expiry. Expired ciphertext is physically deleted by bounded scheduled cleanup; outages or a deletion backlog may delay physical deletion, and monitored receipts and alerts require operator follow-up. A 30-day results page remains opt-in only. Processing is governed by each provider's applicable API or commercial terms. AI analysis is provided for informational and educational purposes only, and provider availability is not guaranteed.

1.3 What FilteredIn Does NOT Do

  • We do NOT guarantee employment or job placement
  • We do NOT provide legal, career, or professional advice
  • We do NOT submit applications on your behalf
  • We do NOT act as a recruitment or employment agency
  • We do NOT make hiring decisions

2. Eligibility

2.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2.2 Legal Capacity

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.

3. User Content

3.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of your User Content. Submitting content to FilteredIn does not transfer ownership to us.

3.2 License Grant

By submitting User Content, you grant FilteredIn a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • Process and analyze your content using AI technology
  • Store your content temporarily for service delivery
  • Generate derivative insights and recommendations
  • Display results to you

3.3 Prohibited Content

You may NOT submit content that:

  • Contains false or misleading information for deceptive purposes
  • Includes sensitive data (Social Security numbers, health information, financial account numbers)
  • Infringes intellectual property rights
  • Is defamatory, obscene, or harassing
  • Contains malware or malicious code
  • Violates any applicable law

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

Current pricing is displayed on our website. All prices are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise specified.

4.2 One-Time Purchases

FilteredIn services are offered as one-time purchases. We do not automatically enroll you in subscriptions.

4.3 Refund Policy

Refunds may be available under the following conditions:

  • Technical failure preventing service delivery
  • Request made within 7 days of purchase
  • Service not substantially utilized

Refunds are not available for change of mind after receiving analysis, dissatisfaction with AI-generated recommendations, or failure to secure employment.

5. Applicant OS Founder Pilot

5.1 What this is

The Applicant OS Founder Pilot is a separate, externally fulfilled concierge service, not hosted software, a FilteredIn login or portal, or an automated resume-generation engine. It is a buyer-owned, portable career evidence system built collaboratively with you for one target-role family.

5.2 Price, capacity, and payment

The Founder Pilot is $1,500, paid in full. It is a single one-time purchase, not a subscription. Checkout collects only your email and payment. Delivery does not start at purchase. Career evidence is collected later through a path we specify by email.

5.3 Scope

The Founder Pilot includes: one target-role family; a structured evidence interview; verified evidence, bullet, and skill banks with source provenance; three job-specific, acceptance-tested resumes; installation and training in your chosen AI workspace (Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini); two rounds of revisions; and 30 days of defect support after delivery. Every fact, bullet, and skill statement in your evidence bank is drawn only from information you provide and approve — no unapproved claim is added.

5.4 Timing

After purchase we email you to schedule a structured evidence interview. After we accept complete intake and send a written start notice, we commit to delivering three job-specific resumes and your portable package within 24 calendar hours. That is a firm delivery commitment, not a guarantee, and not immediate delivery. Installation, two revision rounds, and 30-day defect support happen after initial delivery.

5.5 Refunds

The Founder Pilot is refundable until fulfillment work begins. Once fulfillment work has started, the general refund conditions in Section 4.3 do not apply to this offer; contact [email protected] to discuss your situation.

5.6 Ownership

You own the delivered evidence bank, bullet library, and resume drafts. The package is provider-neutral and portable — you are not required to use any specific AI provider to use your deliverables.

5.7 What this service does NOT do

  • Does not provide unlimited or instant resume generation
  • Is not intended for roles unrelated to your verified experience
  • Does not submit job applications on your behalf
  • Does not guarantee employment, interviews, or any hiring outcome

6. Disclaimers

6.1 "AS IS" Service

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

6.2 No Guarantees

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

  • Accuracy or completeness of AI analysis
  • That you will obtain employment using the Service
  • Continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation
  • Compatibility with your specific needs or expectations

6.3 AI Limitations

AI analysis is based on algorithmic processing and may contain errors or inaccuracies, not reflect current hiring trends, produce different results for similar inputs, or not account for subjective human decision-making.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FILTEREDIN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Employment outcomes or career decisions
  • Any damages arising from use of AI recommendations

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

8. Dispute Resolution

8.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at [email protected] to attempt informal resolution. We will try to resolve disputes within 60 days.

8.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
